An Evening on Lake Carolina

There's a neighborhood next to ours called Lake Carolina where a lot of our Ward members live and it has a lake big enough on which to water ski. Well a few months back we had an auction fund raiser for our young women and one of the items was a water ski trip donated by a family in that neighborhood and David had to bid on it thinking he was Mr Wakeboarder. So last Thursday night we scheduled to go with the Englands and had a blast. Here are some pics.

Summer Time - When the Living is Easy

It's already been a month since our last post and this post will really demonstrate one of our biggest weaknesses... taking pictures and now our newest weakness... updating the blog.

Since the last post, we've been just soaking up sun and enjoying the summer. Joshua went to superhero camp for a week. Hailey spent a few days at Grandma Joy's with her cousin Elizabeth. Lilly and mommy have been loving the pool and David got to go to Las Vegas for a conference and visit friends and family.

The highlight of the past 30-days was the 4th of July, spent at Aunt Meredith's family lakehouse in Cheraw. All of Celeste's family was there and we has the classic F's - Food, Fun, Family, Friends, Fireworks, and more Food. Good times.

The last bit a news is quite sad :-( ... A couple weeks ago David was called to be in our bishopric as 2nd counselor. Church has now become a major juggling act with Celeste still in the primary presidency and Lilly about to start the nursery. The church must be true, right?
